Personality: Angry, violent and bearing a rather large grudge against a certain Spider. Won't purposely harm innocents (his definition of "innocent" is rather skewed). Eddie Brock's got a mile wide stubborn streak coupled with hatred and rage, and an equally angry symbiote to back it all up. Around the very select few he's comfortable with or trusts, he comes off as slightly domineering, flirty, and cocky, but otherwise loyal. Brock generally sees himself not necessarily as a villain, but as a kind of perverse protector of the innocent (he's big on the idea of justice, although his sense of justice doesn't exactly fit everyone else's definition). Brock can sometimes come off as flirty and superficial.

Powers: Organic webbing, superhuman strength/agility, ability to shapeshift clothing (to a limited extent his body - mainly head area - when acting as Venom). Allegedly bullet-proof (untested), immune to Peter Parker's spider-sense, able to stick to almost any surface (wall climb). Moderate experience at hand-to-hand combat without symbiote. With symbiote, pretty much a beefed up, pissed-off version of Spidey: whatever he knows/can do, they can do, in addition to some tricks only the symbiote can do such as morphing itself and protecting its Host. When in action, the symbiote appears to be a fast-moving oil slick coming out and covering Brock - without Brock, the symbiote can appear to have fangs/snake-like, but also sometimes look like nothing more than a black puddle.

Weakness: Extremely sensitive to intense heat, electricity, and sonic disruption. In order to stay healthy and relatively sane, Venom requires a certain chemical to feed on (possibly Phenethylamine). This chemical is only found in two sources: chocolate and human brain tissue. It's up in the air which he prefers, but its an essential part of his diet - if he goes without it for a prolonged amount of time, it equals serious trouble, as both human host and symbiote degenerate into insanity until administered a good dose of phenethlyamine.

Brief History: Worked for the Daily Bugle, but was fired after a messy scandal involving a doctored photo that placed Spider-man in a bad light; Brock was exposed as a fraud and fired. Ended up encountering the symbiote in a church where he was praying. Once merged with the Symbiote, Brock learned everything about Spider-man, and blames him for everything that has happened to him. Current whereabouts: Unknown.

This version of Eddie Brock is basically an amalgram of the various versions seen in the comics and cartoon, as well as Spider-man 3 (seeing as Brock was barely in there). He has a bit of an unhealthy (read: obsessive) love-hate attraction to Spider-man/Peter Parker, thanks to his own anger and his symbiote's lust to be "One". Aside from his lust for Parker and to possess him in every way possible, Brock considers himself straight.

In Landels - Currently only remembers being with the symbiote for a few months - doesn't remember birthing Carnage or anything else. Can still communicate with his own symbiote, but is unable to turn into Venom.

Currently is allied with Luffy (One Piece) - the two of them were "friends" with Jonathan Crane (Batman Begins) until he disappeared one night and suddenly resurfaced as a Landels employee. They are planning to jump him when the opportunity presents itself. Crane ended up disappearing from Landels, leaving the two of them at a loss of what to do.

A few night shifts later, another patient (Caim) spied on Brock trying to feed on a dead monster and they fought. Brock managed to get the upper hand and, in what he thought was a brilliantly dickish movie, removed one of Caim's eyes, and made him watch as he ate it (thus making an enemy of Caim). Currently he's encountered Peter Parker/Spider-man, which has opened up a whole new can of worms since Harry Osborn popped in as well. Currently Brock's managed to finally kick Crane's ass (with some help from his co-pilot Luffy) and has made an uneasy alliance with Sylar and is sorta-kinda messing around on the side with Elle.
